Latest Azad Kashmir Police Special Unit Jobs 2025 – SSG Retired Soldiers Recruitment
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Police Department has announced a new recruitment drive for the Special Unit (formerly known as SSG Commandos). This is an excellent opportunity for retired SSG personnel from the Pakistan Army to continue their service in a disciplined and prestigious law enforcement unit.
Job Details
The AJK Police Special Unit is hiring retired SSG personnel on a contractual basis. The selection process will be merit-based and aims to recruit highly skilled and trained individuals to strengthen the unit.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for these positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Military Experience: Retired SSG personnel of the Pakistan Army
Age Limit:
Maximum age: 40 years
Retired within the last 7 years (not before 1989)
Height: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches
Chest: Minimum 33 ½ inches
Domicile: Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK)
Medical Fitness: Must be physically fit and meet the required medical standards
Additional Skills: Preference will be given to those with specialized counter-terrorism training and combat experience
Selection Process
The recruitment will take place on April 23-24, 2025, at Police Lines Muzaffarabad.
Candidates must arrive by 9:00 AM for registration and document verification.
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a physical fitness test and an interview.
Successful candidates will be given contract-based appointments under special unit terms and conditions.

✅ SSG qualification certificates

✅ Recent passport-size photographs
Important Notes
No TA/DA will be provided for the selection process.
Selected candidates will undergo further training and deployment in high-risk operations.
The contract will be renewable based on performance.
